Mycelium app — what we collect

Mycelium is designed to collect as little data as possible.

• Your device: A cryptographic identity key pair is generated and stored locally. It never leaves your device.
• Messages: Stored locally with an expiry date; transmitted encrypted on the mesh network. We cannot read your messages.
• Relay server: When using the internet relay, your IP may be processed briefly to establish a connection. IP addresses are not logged or stored.

What we do NOT collect (app)

• No user accounts or registration in the app
• No message content (end-to-end encrypted)
• No usage analytics or tracking in the app
• No advertising identifiers

Data on your device

You can delete all local data at any time using “Panic Wipe” in Settings.

This website — beta form

If you apply for beta access on this site, we receive the email and optional message you submit, only to respond to your application. You must actively check the consent box before sending. The form is operated by Formspree (USA; standard contractual clauses). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Messages are delivered to contact@synapticfour.com.

Website hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Access logs (e.g. IP, timestamp) may be processed as technically necessary. No analytics or marketing cookies are used. System fonts only.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR, and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact contact@synapticfour.com; we typically respond within one month.
